Now, it’s true that Hurrdat Media and Hurrdat Sports collaborated with Let it Fly to develop and launch their podcast. In fact, multiple episodes of this podcast were recorded live at our venue. However, this collaboration was solely on the media front. When it comes to ownership, the two bars operate independently.

Let it Fly, which opened in downtown Omaha in the summer of 2023, is backed by a group of investors from across the United States, including former NBA player Mike Miller. We were established in Omaha a year before Let it Fly made its debut, and our commitment to the community has never wavered.

We’re thrilled to share that Hurrdat Sports Bar will soon announce its next location. We’ve been searching for the next spot to call home for the last year with a primary goal that we continue to elevate Omaha’s sports bar experience as a whole but find a niche within a suburb where we can support at a micro-local level like we did in Papillion-LaVista . And, staying true to our roots, this new establishment will be 100% locally owned by the same individual who founded our flagship bar. Our mission remains clear: to offer an unparalleled sports viewing experience while celebrating our deep-rooted connection to Omaha.
